Sikkim – Chief Justice of India Surya Kant will be in Gangtok on May 1–2 to participate in a national conference dedicated to technology and judicial education. The event, hosted by the High Court of Sikkim, will bring together judges from the Supreme Court and several high courts, highlighting its importance for the country’s judicial system.
The conference aims to explore how technological innovations can enhance efficiency, transparency, and accessibility within the judiciary. Discussions are expected to focus on integrating digital tools into court processes and strengthening judicial training through modern platforms.
Ahead of the Chief Justice’s visit, senior officials convened a coordination meeting at the state secretariat under Chief Secretary R. Telang.
