Guwahati, Assam: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma extended greetings to members of the Assam Police on the occasion of Assam Police Day, acknowledging their contribution to maintaining peace, security and public order across the state.

Sarma lauded officers and personnel for carrying out their responsibilities with courage, commitment and compassion, and said the people of Assam benefit from the force’s round-the-clock vigilance and service.
The Chief Minister also expressed appreciation for the role played by the Assam Police in upholding law and order and responding to public needs, adding that the state takes pride in the force’s unwavering sense of duty.
